For the very first time the Masturbate-a-thon is coming
to the UK. After six successful years in San Francisco
the event has finally arrived in Europe, and will this
year take place in London, on Saturday 5th August 2006.
The charity event isintended to encourage people to
explore safer sex, talk about masturbation and lift
the taboos that still surround the subject, by coming
to a public place and coming in a public place!
All money raised supports charities in the campaign
for greater public understanding of and better services
in HIV and sexual health.
Participants ask friends, colleagues and loved ones
to sponsor them. The amount you raise will be determined
by how many minutes you masturbate and/or how many orgasms
you achieve. You can even ask sponsors to support you
by making a single payment just for having the courage
to come along on the day and take part.
The Masturbate-a-thon will be taking place between 2pm
and 10pm on Saturday 5th August at Drop Studios, 50-54
Clerkenwell, London, EC1M 5PS. Please do not contact
Drop Studios for information regarding the event. If
you require further details call 0207 017 8764 leaving
your name, contact number & query and someone will
get back to you.
Channel 4 will be filming the event for a documentary
which will make up part of their 'masturbation week'.
Given C4's anti-sex prudery of late, we can assume that
most of the week will be devoted to showing that wanking
really DOES make you go blind and mad...

Model
Elle MacPherson says that she found inspiration for
her new lingerie range by visiting strip clubs.
The Australian's latest clothing line is called Boudoir
and she claims that she knew exactly where to go to
get ideas.
She explained, "The whole idea is one of seduction
but to find the right look I had to go to strip joints."It's
really sexy underwear with wonderful colour combinations."

Plans have been submitted to open a new lap dancing
bar in the middle of Burnley town centre. The bar would
be based above Calamity Jane's in Hammerton Street.
Burnley Council will have to decide on whether or not
to let the club get the go-ahead although it is understood
there have been initial concerns from police over proposed
levels of nudity and contact between customers and dancers.
Funny, we thought the police were only supposed to comment
on the likelyhood of crime and disorder - what business
is it of theirs how much nudity is allowed?

Former
USTV child star and more recently drug addict Jodie
Sweetin is to host a new show on music channel Fuse
TV with the guaranteed-for-cancellation dumbass title
of Pants-Off Dance-Off.
The show is to be taped at Fuse TV's Midtown studio
and features people of all ages taking off their clothes
to their favorite music videos. Sounds awful ansd we
assume there will be no nudity, so it's probabl;y not
even good for a cheap thrill.
No word yet if Sweetin - ex-star of lame sitcom Full
House - plans to strip, but we somehow doubt it.
Fuse says it hopes she will use her connections to get
her former little TV sisters - Mary-Kate and Ashley
Olsen - to join in the freaky fun. Which frankly sounds
even more doubtful.

East London prudes are predicvtably up in arms over
the possibility of a lap-dancing club opening in their
Canning Town neighbourhood, and as ever, are hiding
behind a non-existant threat to children to mask their
bigotry.
Star Primary School is within 100 yards of the disused
Anchor Pub on Star Lane, which a company called Klub
Klass plan to develop the old pub as a club for adult
entertainment between the hours of midday and 2am primarily
targeted at Docklands businessmen. Not, you'll note,
at schoolchildren.
Nonetheless, employees of Star Primary School in Canning
Town have vowed to fight against the application. The
Headteacher, Marion Rosen, thinks the club would be
a mistake for the community and the children. "The
building is basically as close as you can get to the
school without being in our playground" she
whined.
Crumbling after years of wear and tear, the Anchor was
earmarked for housing development but when the deal
fell through, it stayed vacant, much to the dismay of
Rosen, who thinks it would be better utilised as community
space: "I would love to set up a trust and get
a grant and try and buy it. We could use it as a part
of the school or we could use it as a youth club."
In other words, a magnet for vandals, drug puishers
and muggers if most youth clubs are anything to go by.
Rosen said "For those of us who object to the
opening of the club, there are very tight criteria for
objecting. And if we dont phrase our objections
in the right language, the club could get the green
light. You cant object on moral or religious grounds
either. Our private views do not come into it. The only
things we can object on are about crime and disorder,
public nuisance, public safety and the protection of
children from harm."
Given that, we would expect the application to sail
through unhindered...

However,
this

,
La

Lisa
Bond
said:
"It
may
be
due
to
the
fact
that

because

Most
